Bar end removal
« on: 05 July 2016, 06:19:15 pm »
My heated grips have started moving round on the handlebars so I thought I would take the bar ends off, slip them off, bit of glue, back on all ok.

Can I shift the allen bolt at the end of the bar ends?  Can I foc.  Is there some weird magic going on here?  reverse thread or not even a screw?  They should just unscrew, yeah?

Those who know my posts are already looking forward to the "I've fucked up my bars trying to get my bar ends off" thread admit it!  :rollin

If they are the standard Fazer ones they just screw out but don't bother with the allen socket, mine has Torx, I wrapped a cloth around the bar end and used mole grips to unscrew it.
