Not been for yrs......as it was crap.....don't know if it has improved..??? I won't pay money to go view bikes I can see for foc all in the shops.....and if I want tools I can get better online......so I don't see the point really......I think we should adopt the American way of showing bikes or cars......they go to a car park with their vehicles and have a get together very successful it is as well.....and free..

Anyway this is the joy of bikes with a little trial and error......admittedly i dont really hold high hopes for them in the end but curiosity just got the better of me & i thought foc it what will i lose...a bit of time and the price of a set of Renthals, small coal really, ill just swap them out for those 755's or whatever that are already proven good'ns.......they are funny looking though, i need to get the bike outta the shed and get them from different angles and with the grips etc etc all fitted.
Well they are not full fat apes......but mini me apes.....

Just stripping down my gen 1 1000 forks to put in new seals and have a wee problem I can't get the damper rod out any suggestions on this would be appreciated
tape a 27mm socket to a piece of tube then slide it down inside of forks after you taken spring out use a allen key at the bottom of forks then you can undo they arn't very tight

That type of damage could have been caused by the wrong type of bolt.....the ones fitted on my bike have enough shoulder to run through the swingarm bracket as having a threaded bolt could grind away the inside of the bracket hole.....hence the failure
