Got the airbox back in after my whoopsie with the help of a rubber mallet. Thanks for the advice, Tony! Rain stopped play, but hopefully I'll have it all back in on Saturday. Looks like I'll be cleaning the carbs this weekend too, hopefully!
Changed the fork seals, oil, and dust sealsstripped cleaned front brakes , new padsnew speedo sensornew chain and sprockets new 12mm nut new oil and K&N filterstripped cleaned rear calliper new pads New front and rear tyrespainted suspension and standsCleaned it and ....................................... sold it Mark

Rode up to RAF Cosford for the annual Midland Air Ambulance Bikefest. Stayed dry mostly except heavy shower mid-afternoon Highlight of the day was a flypast by Supermarine Spitfire-what a beautiful sound that 12 cylinder Rolls Royce Merlin!!! loads of bikes there including a handful of Fazers. Shropshires idea of road resurfacing seems to be chuck a few tons of loose gravel about!
