Got to kind of feel for him with the whole world backing Rossi, but you cant take anything away from him, rode the perfect race and tbh deserved the title

Lots of man love going to be had tonight between him and Marc  :b

He rode the perfect race, thought Pedrosa and Marquez were going to have him in those last two laps.

Just had a text from a friend who is at the race and he said Lorenzo was booed and people left in droves immediately after the race, did not even wait for the celebration. :eek Quite a few were annoyed that they were denied a great battle at the front by having Rossi starting at the rear.

Lorenzo rode a good race, but was surprised Marquez did not pass him or was there a conspiracy to have a Spaniard win the title. Repsol have huge political clout in Spain and if they could not win the title then ensured a Spaniard won it. :eek

I am only suggesting it as a possibility.

Guess it would have been a fairytale ending, but lets face it in real life the big bad wolf would have eaten little red ridinghood

7 wins for Lorenzo, a good years work. Even if Marquez had got passed him Lorenzo would have won on countback. A shame for Lorenzo the whole season is marred by the Sepang incident, nothing to do with him. Even if Rossi hadn't started from the back would the outcome have been any different, he didn't have the pace of the front 3.

Also, what a year for Yamaha. MotoGP champion, manufacturer's title, the new R1 winning BSB & American championships, Suzuka 8- Hour winners. Maybe more of that next year plus WSB with Alex Lowes & Ginters.

Rossi didn't have the pace at the end due to using up his tyres trying to get up to  leading pack.

What a Spanish company headed by a Spaniard ensuring that a Spanish racer just has to finish to win the title, what ever gave you that idea!!!

And that is why I will never try and watch Motogp again even though i don't thanks to said Spanish company and BT Crap i mean sport.

Agreed! I was looking forward to watching it tonight & knowing the outcome in advance fucks up some of the anticipation.
Next time you feel like announcing a race result, don't put it in the title for all to see. Instead, try putting as the title " Spoiler Alert " & as you should have done in this case added  "moto gp."
