Not a stupid question at all.A few years ago, some SV650 owners noticed these HD emulators suited 41mm diameter forks (and also noticed how cheap they were). They found that they were a straight for 1st Gen SV650 forks. In 2013 I discovered they were also perfect fit for Fazer FZS600 forks. The 'debate' about whether the Emulator's preload spring is too firm (to accommodate the extra weight of Harley Davidsons) is IMO a non-issue, as backing it's preload off makes it ideal for much lighter bikes such as Fazers
They are the best modification you can do to the standard forks (if fitted alongside replacement springs). Obviously replacement cartridge forks swapped from other bikes would be even better.Yes, I first ran Racetech Emus in the forks back in 2008:http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,71.0.htmlAnd again with cheaper Debrix Emus when I bought my second Fazer 600:http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,8366.0.htmlAnd talked a few other forum members into a Group Buy:http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,9279.0.html
