Title: Interesting pic
Post by: Derpdiherp on 30 June 2015, 09:02:23 am
I had a "spirited" ride this weekend - blew out the cobwebs over woodhead pass, then snake pass in the peak district.

I spotted this morning when I came to get back on the bike what had happened to my rear tyre. BT027's have two different compounds, a sticky on the outside, and a firmer hard wearing one in the middle.

I must've been pushing it a bit - you can see the difference in compound pretty clearly after me caning it a bit, the tyre was worn like a slick would on the outside.

Pretty cool I though! You can't usually see the difference between the two compounds.

summer burning, :lol nice pic Derp, I've much the same effect on a BT-023.
At least it's not 'road crown', a sure sign of riding like a wuss!
