advice needed on exhaust bracket

picked up an akrapovic exhaust from a fellow forum member for my FZ6, but it doesn't have the original akra exhaust hanger. Akra importer wants £67 for the bracket (!!!!). Have tried a couple of cheaper exhaust sellers on eBay to see if I could buy one of theirs and mod it for the akras, but no-one is interested. Any other ideas on where to source one, before I go to the local mechs and get them to make me one?

My bike came with some scorpions bodged on by a local mechanic. If I was you I'd just pay out for the brackets and get it done properly, a mechanic is probably going to charge somewhere near that to make up brackets and I doubt they will be as good, so my advice is just bite the bullet, that's what I did with my scorpions.
