Did the carbs remain the same on all Gen 1 1000's UK spec

Same part number for all Gen 1's so should be the same. 5LV-14900-00

No there were some changes around 2003 Mike (Falcon 269) would be the best person to advise I think it's to do with the jetting / needles.

Essentially the same - the only minor change was an increase in the size of the needle spacer from 2003 onwards.  Went from 2.5mm to 3.0mm which is only of significance if you decide to making jetting changes. :)

Was thinking of going full monty but might upgrade next year to newer Gen1 so could swap carbs and keep mods.
