Currently just outside Strasbourg, for comparison it's  €1.70 (£1.40) here for petrol & €1.40 (£1.15!!) for diesel.

I'd drop the 'high-speed' phrase, the ad just wants someone for routine stuff, mentioning high-speed could make the recruiter think he's some sort of speedfreak &  be likely to thrash their vehicles around the place!  Replace it with something more positive sounding like 'driving emergency-response ambulances & ensuring they were always kept  clean & in a constant state of mission readiness' that also covers the final point of the ad.

interesting , cos my 04 bike was bought with 8k on the clock, and what are I am sure OE fitted sprocket and chain. This is the first sprocket change at 36 k miles( = 28 K chain and sprocket life), and no plastic at all, just metal.
The OE Yam front sprocket is distinstive as it has a thick middle, looking a bit odd, but no doubt there for strength and " noise" suppression !

I bought my 04 with IIRC ~7k on & my front sprocket too was as yours ie. no plastic & a thicker middle.

I've used both ally & stainless ones on a set of Renthal ultra lows & can't say I noticed much if any difference between the 2.

You need the security code that is on a red plastic card that the previous owner should have given you, if you don't have it then I'm afraid you're screwed & you can't add another fob.

There's more info about it here: http://www.abacuscaralarms.co.uk/alarms/remote_controls/meta-remotes.html

Reminds me of the time in IIRC 1999 that I noticed that the dome nut on one of the cylinder studs of my TDR250 was starting to leak coolant.....

13 years later I've still got some boxes of well packaged parts & a nicely powder coated frame out in the garage!   :lol

I've had a couple from this guy -  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DB-KILLER-BAFFLE-KILL-NOISE-YOUR-CAN-/160725405500?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item256bfb0f3c

He'll make them to fit any size you want & they're pretty good.

A Nip is Notice of Intention to Prosecute, ie. it's you being informed that you're being reported for a motoring offence & as such it can be written or verbal.  The written one is typically sent when you've not been stopped & talked to by plod at the time of the alleged offence eg. getting flashed by a speed camera, whereas if you got pulled by a live copper & he didn't offer you a fixed penalty option, & told you that you were being reported for speeding then that is the NIP delivered.

So, from what you say happened, the Traffic Warden has delivered the NIP already.

Of course the above applies to coppers & 'proper' motoring offences, I've no idea if Traffic Wardens have the same rights & restrictions as the police & as mentioned in the previous post there are also different types of wardens & I doubt they all have the same level of authority.

Probably just another little Hitler gobbing off because you've disrespected his overblown sense of power, I wouldn't worry about it to be honest.

I've used this company a few times over the years for stainless bits  & always found them reasonably priced with good quality & service - http://www.inoxbolt.co.uk/

I traded in a ZX10R for my FZS1000 a couple of years ago & though I loved the sheer nuttyness of the 10R, I've never regretted it for a moment.

I do however still regret selling the ZX-9R that I traded in for the ZX-10R....

I used Araldite on mine

Me too & it's been there for a couple of years now without any problems.

Just to be sure, I roughed up the mating surfaces first & then left if for 24 hours to set with clamps holding them together.

I have a couple of questions:

1. Where do I order one from?

2. How much?

Fekkin suicide bid I'd have thought.

Has the hiviz actually become law in France yet?
Had a quick look around and haven't found confirmation of it.

Wow!  I can't do most of what he does standing on the ground!

Though according to the GF, on the way back from the pub on Saturday nights, I often make a passable imitation of the bit from 4:35...   :)

Dunno whereabouts in NW Kent you are, but if you can get to Gatwick or Croydon, then Southern Trains are running a skeleton Brighton-Gatwick-Victoria service along with half-hourly services between both East & West Croydon & Victoria, there's a car park next to West Croydon station.

Should TFL/RMT  remember what 'public service' means & decide to run on Boxing day, & you can get a lift to West Croydon then your best bet may be to get the East London overground from there directly to Highbury & Islington.

If the Croydon Tram service is running, then you could maybe catch that at Beckenham Junction to West Croydon.
