They do a diy kit for about £20 if your visor is not pinlock ready or not designed for pinlock (bit scary drilling through a perfectly servicable visor!)
yes, they are model specific too and come with handy template so you get the holes spot on, top product

from past experience the organisers want all the money up front, whether its to hire a group or the full circuit. Been involved in both and hardest part is getting the money from people, huge interest then when its time to pay low interest ! Not saying that'll be the case here, best idea is defo pick the date and everyone book on the same day to guarantee the places. Camped at cadwell few times but always chased up by security for £10/person to stop over. Its good though to be able to wonder around the track with beer in hand !!

ive got a chinese copy of a floating 320mm Braking Disc on a supermoto and have to say the only difference ( ihave original Braking discs also) is they a 1mm thinner, cant fault the quality. Performance equals the original too at less than half the price. Dont you think some manufacturers are taking the piss with there prices ?

i think everyone on here will say swap it !. Rode the winter on a honda domi a while back (similar to the prilla) and it was great on the slippy shitty winter roads, coated it with acf50 and never washed it till I sold it a few months later, damn thing came up like new ! Tough one really as they're so different, but no reason why you cant use a fazer all year. Bike prices seem to be all over the place atm....me I'd have both

I use gerbing heated gloves which work well without handguards but better with. Screen is a cee baileys one, great for keeping the cold off your upperbody, can be a bit "buffety" though and looks naff.

heres mine, acerbis road handguards, take about 5mins to fit, do a good job of deflecting wind and rain. not as big or effective as the dl650 ones but look alot nicer. They do hit the screen before full lock but dont when riding.

got that on mine, massive leap foward over the oe jobbie, cant compare it to the higher end shocks cause never fitted one. Just gave my riding weight and they set it up before sending, havent touched it since fitting, spot on for me. Looks nice and blingy too

wasnt it something like the '03 on fazers had stronger subframe and it was only the 01/02 that they advised to only use the 21L cases ?

could be, the fairing on rjds bike also looks slightly different at the bottom, looks like it has a taller lip section.....the pics sadlonelygit posted look like the fairing has been filed at some point, not saying he did it cause he didnt but it has a flat filed look to the fairing instead of the round finish it should have, what do you reckon ??

the bottom yoke in kartmans pic looks different to the one i used although it is sitting at the same level.and the pic in devils yam post are totally different. If you look at the pic of the bottom yoke i had it seems to have a little more material beyond the clamp bolts, its that casting line iirc that rubs the fairing, its very little, not like you cant turn the bars or nowt, might be wrong like but thats what it looks like. If the yoke was bent I would have noticed when they were fitted to my bike(if they were bent i would sling em in the bin).

i sold this front end and its spot on....it also just scraped my fairing when on lock which i fixed by removing a small amount of inner fairing with a file..job done. heres a pic when it was on my bike, and the only way the bottom clamp could sit any lower was if the bearing wasnt seated correctly. The R1 bottom yoke is wide than the fazer. .....ive never sold anything that wasnt spot on btw.....some folks are a bit quick off the mark Makes no odds to me if others clear and others dont...unless someones got the details of all fazer frontend conversions to hand which i doubt

yep the plug n play one takes about 10mins to fit and program, or you could go a step further and buy one of christians digital gauges though a lot more involved in fitting, dash to bits, soldering etc

only reason I have this up at 400 is the cnc top clamp cost a bit. I can supply it with the R1 top clamp which needs drilling for the bar risers for 325 posted, but it wont be bolt st8 on then. I'll get a couple more pics soon but here is the top clamp, I'll chuck the oberon preload adjusters in foc !! I havent done anything to these forks since I bought them, so will probably need a service etc, though like I said seals are fine etc. I live in northumberland (see the foccer member map) pick up no problem, my estimate for posting is @£25.

Going to sell my front end R1 conversion if anyone fancies a ready to bolt on conversion. I've only just built the thing and very happy with it too, however a lovely little cr250 has landed in me lap and I want to put some cash towards doing it up. The forks are 4xv, with 4xv bottom clamp, fazer stem, spacer from Justy, top clamp is cnc company (couple of small marks but near mint), fender is new off fleabay. Forks are in good condition, seals are good, few small marks, rebound adjusters are a little chewed by some hamfisted twiddler but work fine. Not bothered if it stays with me really, but could save someone a bit of time if they are thinking about doing the conversion. £400 posted
