Title: Dashcam makes a fool of the owner
Post by: BBROWN1664 on 02 December 2015, 08:06:24 am
What a pillock. He was doing less than 50 (based on the speed the lorry went past) in the middle lane of the motorway

The truck driver was a pillock too but this "ex special cuntstable" should have his licence revoked too with a bit of luck.

I see in the report that the car driver has neck and shoulder pain  :\ .
Is there a whiff of compensation claim in the air  ;) .

:agree

Taken by ambulance AFTER following the truck to the depot. He was really badly injured. Also, the scrape in the photos would hardly be noticed in the car. You get a bigger jolt from a pot hole.

:agree wtf ? so this happened at Northampton and he then followed the lorry to Dunstable (50+) miles and then needed an ambulance. Bollocks! Compo claim for sure!

This is one of those cases where the evidence shows that the complainant was an idiot in the first place!

What the hell was he doing sitting in Lane 2 when Lane 1 is free? Why was he failing to make progress on a virtually empty road? Why was he faffing around with his Dashcam instead of driving responsibly?

Who is Matthew Stockdale (http://www.policewitness.com/which-camera/)? Oh look: He runs a business selling Dashcams to "hold bad drivers to account".

That whole incident would never have happened if he wasn't driving like a prat, so hopefully the "bad driver" who going to be held to account is him!

Ridiculous driving in lane 2 at that slow speed, followed by more ridiculous driving by the lorry.

He clearly has no idea that those HGVs cannot pass him in lane 3, so his ego trip in the middle lane means they can only pass illegally. Pity the poor wagon driver who has been effectively laid-off. Towing on the motorway can be total pain with these idiots hogging lane 2.

He was overtaking the invisible man is his invisible car in lane 1 which is why he could not move out of the way.  :)

Two twats driving on the 'moronway' at the same time  :lol

It would be more in his line to take a refesher course on the rules of the road with regards to motorway driving.

To be honest if I am towing and come across a middle lane tosspot, I usually just undertake them.

It's posted on his company's Facebook page: lots of critical comments... which he's deleting as fast as he can. :rollin
He doesn't seem to be able to do the same to reviews though. :evil

>edit< My mistake, he's removed the review section of the Facebook page... and pulled the footage off it too. :lol

From the first shots you can see reflection of presumeably the cars own indicators, so hes also travelling along the motorway with his indicator or hazard lights on. Cock.
The hgv was a cock too, if he gets that wound up he has to try and kill someone, he shouldnt be driving either.

I allways undertake in those situations but only if there is an escape route (ie a hard shoulder or similar) and if theres no police cars in sight :lol

:agree pilninggas

If I am towing I would pass on the inside without a question. Legal too.

Hazard lights flashing whilst driving on the motorway - going slower than HGV's - hogging the middle lane - ex special cuntstable - runs a dashcam company - all adds up to him being a complete tw@t

I hope the real police find several books to throw at him and make him retake his test.

The HGV driver should be locked up though for his actions.

imo you have one major cock looking for trouble, and the hgv driver bit. the problem is the hgv went into lane 3, which is illegal, so is on a sticky wicket to start with.
n/s lane everytime for me, usually gets MLM* to speed up as well.
i hope they both have to do a driver awareness course..........together.

(middle lane muppets)

Bane of my life, well most days any ways. Cloccers. (Centre lane owners club)
If the muppet in the car just did a paltry 60 the muppet in the truck would of had no one to get annoyed by.

Limax - If you are in Lane 1 and a muppet is going slower in lane 2, it is legal to pass them on the inside as long as you didn't change lanes to achieve it or pull out in front of them afterwards

In other words, you are just moving with the flow of traffic, even if there is not other traffic.

Foccin hope it is as i did M5 j19-22 all in the nearside lane and I was overtaking stuff in the 'fast' lane, and I was doing a steady 100kmh .

It's not illegal to pass a vehicle on its nearside (if it was, we'd never be allowed to filter), but if you start switching between the lanes then you could be done for Careless Riding (according to a Magistrate I know).

You are also allowed to pass on the nearside if traffic is moving in queues:

Quote
Highway Code Rule 163:

Overtake only when it is safe and legal to do so. You should

[...]

only overtake on the left if the vehicle in front is signalling to turn right, and there is room to do so

stay in your lane if traffic is moving slowly in queues. If the queue on your right is moving more slowly than you are, you may pass on the left
