Coincidentally I had the exact same fault only last week! lol... (2002 Full Monty gen 1 with 50k miles on the clock, always garaged, but washed virtually after every use...)I initially had a problem with my lights shorting out and blowing a fuse. This worked out to be a spade connection that came lose from my front brake lever and was shorting out on my handle bars... Anyhow, whilst searching for this short I also discovered the exact same burnt out electrical block cable as you Mike. So I popped down to Maplin and got a replacement 30Amp (Optimate type) connector and 30Amp cable. I must have been just around the corner of having a Total Electrical Failure myself! All fixed now though + some WD40 action and a check of all the other electrical connections etc... There's another electrical block inside this rubber boot that replaced last year for the same thing! It's the white one with about 6 feeds running through it." Definitely worth checking out / replacing if not done already"

If I hadn't been given free tickets to the BSB at Thruxton I would definitely joined you guys... And then if by a stroke of luck, on the way home with my pillion, around Upavon I passed you lot coming the other way... A great day all round on 2 wheels. Hope you all had a great and safe day and hope to join you on your next run...

I've got some airfix model enamel paint in by garage, but I can't remember the exact make and code. It's either Revell or Humbrol. I'll have a look later and let you know. It's a pretty good match I think...

Did any of you guys attend the Salisbury MAG the other weekend? I met one of you chaps down there who said they were getting their Fazer full Montied in Bristol on the weekend... Unfortunatly I was just about to leave so didn't have much time to chat. I can't remember his name but it would be good to meet up, talk Fazers and go for a blast...

I may have to pick up my wifes new car from Gloucester on Sunday, but on the good side I'll have to take her on the back of the bike to pick it up. With this in mind my turning up to BotW may be hit or miss now... :-/

I'm desparate to blow the cobwebs out, scrub my new tyres in and try my new custom Digger seat out. The weather looks to be dry this weekend, so I plan to go the Excel on Sunday...
