Had a mahoosive fuel leak in the Sainsburys Petrol Station in Emersons Green (Bristol) 10 minutes after taking delivery of my Fazer. It was pointed out to me by mr John Silva who helped me out and then pointed me towards this site with a lovely business card he had had made :D

I was going through the "Bandit/Fazer/Hornet, first big bike" question.  Found this forum and was convinced after a few days, never looked back.

I did a similar thing looking between Bandit / Fazer / Hornet as my first bike and in the end the Fazer's power output won (plus it looks nicer and one came up at the right price)

Seems a long time ago now, but I was tired of the sprocket nut coming off and googled to see if anyone else had had the same problem.

People had recommended a Fazer (600) as a 'first big bike' but was mulling over VFR800, SV650, Hornet, bandit, etc. (sorry for the foul terms).

Then saw a Fazer Thou in a dealer and googled. The rest is history.

+2, still not passed my "big" test yet, but was havering between the bikes mentioned above (with the addition of the SV650), and while looking around i stumbled onto here. Since this site is full of sarcastic bigot homophobic racists. im home! :lol

Just used google......fazer owners forum.....no probs.
Trying the same for the Royal Enfield I recently got and finding it more difficult.  None of the forums I have seen so far are nearly as good as this one. :)

Bought a FZS600 in 1998 after a 4 year break from biking (between leaving uni and getting settled into a job).

When I got fed up of the 600, I was sorely tempted by the new 675 Daytona. Started buying bike magazines again (I remember MSL had a lustful cover shot of a red Daytona). Then I heard about the forthcoming gen 2 FZ1 in 2006, fell in love, bought one, did some goggling and found the foccer playground.

Looked at some of the other model 600s, seen a cheapish FZ6 on evilbay not to far from me, googled fazer owners club and found the madhouse signed up and read up all the guff on the FZ^, then bought the bike.
If you worried about falling off your bike, you'd never get on.
