New Car? Thoughts...New bike or both.
« on: 20 April 2012, 08:09:36 pm »
Thinking of changing the Yaris diesel. 6 speed 2010. 58/62 mpg no probs.

Looking at, and now have test drove the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo. Diesel 105 bhp 5 spd.
First impr' Not bad at all. Bigger boot. (means more of wiffees shopping)
Skoda has sport suspension. 17" alloys. Firmer ride, seat holds you better.
1.6 loads of go, about the same as Yaris. Yes the Yaris is supprisingly fast for a 1.4
Same amount of plastic inside, but ok.
Supposed to do 68 mpg, not with me driving.
Sporty looks Black roof, wheels great.

Any thoughts.
Anthracite with black roof, tinted windows, smoked headlamps.wow.
And there is No VAT on these Skodas.Just pay base price + OTR charges.
Road tax free first year then £20 same as Yaris.

Aprilia Tuono r, keep or go with head Triumph Tiger 800.??

Have you won the lottery or something.

We used to have a Yaris it was an 05 plate had it from new 1.4 diesel brill on fuel but accelerated like a slug.

Got a Honda Civic 2.2 diesel now goes like a rocket, but pretty cack on fuel.

Having similar thoughts as my A4 2.4 V6 needs some new suspension and returns about 20mpg + £180 tax

Seen this.............http://www.skoda.co.uk/gbr/finance/offers/twenty-five-percent/Pages/default.aspx

Then again there are a lot of attractive deals on small cars at the mo.

Would be interested to see what you go for. :car
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!
