hello everyone
« on: 16 August 2013, 07:57:42 am »
Hi all , my name is Adam I'm 27 from Gloucester. I'm now the proud owner of a 2003 fzs 600 . I passed my mod2 test yesterday . I used a fazer on my training and fell in love with it so found one for myself as a first "proper" bike . After searching eBay and bike sites I found a blue 03 fzs with 39000 on the clock 11 months mot and tax with loads of papers and a few bits done . Few marks here and there but a fab bike .
Any way I found this forum and thought I would say hello
Adam

Hi Adam, like the bike.congratulations.

Do you have to have a restricted 600 for 2 years? as my mate is doing his test.

I am going to Gloucester today for a spin

Hi Stinch, welcome to FOC-U.
I'm in Oxfordshire, Brize Norton/Carterton based, so not far from you, would be easy to sort a meet up sometime. Been meeting Foccers a lot on ride outs since I joined the site in early summer and thoroughly enjoying it all. Get involved!  :)

Yeah I would love to meet up with people for a ride and make some new friends . I like taking it very steady on my bike . I'm not one for knee down Rossi style .

Quite happy to sit at someone else's pace, Stinch, so no worries on that score. Think of somewhere you want to go and we'll do it sometime. Would be good to get some Foccers out our way again, did Bourton-on-the-Water meet & Cassington bike night (nearer to me) not long ago, but we don't seem to have a heavy concentration of the guys and gals around here, so I've been doing rides out LoFo (London Foccers) way and recently did one to Wales - cracking trip! If you want to keep it shorter, I'm good with that too.

Looks like a period of good weather on it's way so perhaps next Sunday or the following one? Could meet you somewhere else (I'd need to browse a map, or maybe you have a suggestion) then ride in to Bourton together, or just meet there? Anyway, give it some thought in the next couple of days. We could always pop a new thread in the Events/Meets section to see if anyone else can tag along, once we've settled on something.

Hi Adam, still up for a ride out when the weather's good - Sundays or Wednesdays for me - + Simon, hi mate, that would be 3. (aren't my maths skills astounding!  :lol ). If anyone can think of a nice route, we should get it posted in "events/meets" and make a proper go of it, might get a few more to join us. This weekend the weather's not looking great tho', but that gives us more planning time.
