Top Gear Live
« on: 22 January 2014, 01:20:22 pm »
Went to see Top Gear Live with my daughter at the Hydro in Glasgow on Sunday....£90 a ticket and what a load of PISH....loads of cars screeching around some of them on fire, car curling (which was pure shite), a beauty parade of Aston Martins, Ferraris, etc, Scotland against England at car football and some well rehearsed panto style shite banter......did enjoy 4 frenchies on bikes running round inside a sphere thing though.

Not worth the money if anyone is going

I was going to get tickets to that as well. Glad I never bothered now as I loathe all that scripted garbage. £90 a ticket is a rip as well.

I can't see Top Gear being a particularly favoured subject on a bike forum :P

I think my expectations were a bit too high.......and if I wanted to see a burning car screeching around there are plenty areas in Glasgow to see this

That's part of the attraction of this site, and what makes it successful, much more so than some one model (ok 2 or 3!) owner forums, there's no rigorous 'modding saying things like "this isn't about the xxxxx bike" and deleting the thread.

Long may it continue!

Sorry to hear you didnae enjoy it big yin. Although, I'm not surprised it was pish. Clarkson is a tosser, and so is that wee rat faced twirp. I like May plenty, but not £90 worth.

Not quite sure what to do with my early mid-life crisis. Ideas on a post card to P.O.BOX 150...

few of the guys in my work went along to the Hydro to see top gear, tickets ranging from £65 and up. All of them had the same opinion  " IT WAS SHITE" one and a half hours wasted they said and they wont be back.

Kinda glad being the miserable sod that i am that i never bothered buying tickets  :)
Davie.........yes I am that man.
