I have heard that before, funnily enough only from people with silver ones!
More stainless bits and bob's are on the list and stainless brake hoses.
Cheers

Actually got the old girl out on the road today, thoroughly enjoyed a good, if chilly towards the end, 60 mile run to actually enjoy the fruits of my hard work.
Loved it!
First picture is her when I bought her, second one as she looks today.
Still got things to do, mainly cosmetic and a service.
Cheers Doggy

I started to notice it was more awkward than usual, then coming up to a roundabout the stand fell in half and made a scrapping sound from hell.
On inspection the spring eye on the main stand had rusted away completely!
Second hand stand from here, rub down & hammerite and fitted sorted the problem - now the easiest bike I have ever owned to put on the main stand.

It is up on fleabay so cannot offer it up, but had my concerns.
The fact that it looks different to yours has put me off investing £100 in it.
Thanks for the advice guys, you have possibly saved me from wasting my hard earned.

Hi Guys
Does this look right for a 1998 FZS600?
I would have thought to fit panniers the indicators would have to be moved - am I right or wrong?
Thanks in advance

Finished off fitting the new fairing and put the graphics on.
A good mate made the graphics for me, not completely identical to original but as I am restoring the old girl, only get her back to clean original-ish condition they look great.
Also put some black plastic caps on the mirror stalk nuts just to tidy the inside up.
Very pleased.

Gave up searching, and ordered a new one at £15.98!
It's a lot but I am not going to bodge things back on once I have taken them off, and a new fairing is worth the new bits to bolt in on correctly in my book.

Hi
No it is missing - the indicator was always a bit loose but could only see what was wrong when I took them off.
But thanks for the advice.

Hi All Just received my new fairing, having stripped the old one off (in three pieces) I find that I am missing a front indicator mounting plate (photo attached). Does anyone got one sculling about they don't need? Happy to pay postage etc. Thanks Doggy

I had the same problem with my 96 TDM850.
HIDS4U supplied a complete kit for the dip beam which was a 20 minute job to fit and made a huge difference.
I did not fit a HID kit to the main beam as there is a slight delay in getting full power from the lamps, instead went for a night breaker bulb which made a bit of difference but lasted 20 miles!
Hope this helps

Hi All
I am looking to change my grotty caliper bolts for Stainless or Titanium.
Looking on fleabay, they list them from 2003 on.
Is there a difference in the bolts by year or are they all the same?
Confused of Norfolk.
