Hello
« on: 27 July 2015, 06:33:51 pm »
Hi all ,
My name is Michelle and I live just outside London ,

Im recently new to the motor bike scene as a rider, although I was raised with a bike in the family ( Dad ) at the moment I only ride a little 125 but all being well will be doing my module 1 & 2 later on in the year.
Im looking at getting a Fazer 600 once I have passed the modules . I would be grateful for and advice on getting one , things to look for etc .

Thanks

Welcome aboard Michelle,

plenty of good advice and fazer related stuff to be had on this forum, we're a friendly bunch.

You can't go wrong with a  :faz as your first big bike  :)

PS good luck with the modules!

Bonjour Michelle and welcome to the forum  :)

Get a low mileage Foxeye and everything will be great.

No offence but I think I have invented a new word - foccess.

Welcome to the forum Michelle

Best of luck with the modules and the hunt for a Fazer.
As Val says a Foxeye is you best option, biggest tank and best lights.

As Downey (stop digging a hole for yourself  :lol ) says some good ones pop up on the for sale section now and then and I am sure some one close to your area would help out in looking at one if needed.

Sometimes a highish mileage well mainteined model is a better buy than a lowish mileage poorly maintained model.

Nothing wrong with little 125s as they are a stepping stone for greater things to come :)

Hey,
Don't be put off by high mileage, my foxeye is at 50k and runs fine, I had to retire my old boxeye at 120k!
That being said you'll still need to have any bike you're interested in properly test ridden!
We look forward to seeing you at future lofo meets (look in meets and events section!)
