as usual mike,, total professional service and the bike is tons better,, even tho it has no exup lol.
not bothered really so will look out for a set of downpipes and cables but deffo not top of my shopping list.   you did it again you old dog,, smiling all the way home  ;)
seriously if anyone on this forum has a fazer thats not ivanised you are really missing out on the bikes potential.  email mike and get another visit organised,, you will not regret it 8)

Hi all i had my bike done on Saturday. just the slip on with std can BUT OMG
and WAW what a difference it makes :eek .
rode up the midlands 134 mile's and ride home was 160 miles in the rain!
so i had a really good ride, bike is smoother, bike starts much easier, pick up is there from near idle speed. fuel consumption is really great 160 miles on just over 3/4 of a tank of fuel so work that one out :b  but i did not really push it 70- 80mph because of the weather.
If there is anybody thinking of this mod it is a must, and i would not hesitate in doing it BUT get it done professionally.
mike is a really great guy and very professional , his knowledge of the fazer is outstanding and he is a genius in his own right. I would like to thank the host Nic of the venue and the 3 other lads who i met a really nice bunch of lads.
Rich can you PM me for more details on your shock please.
again thank you mike for working on my bike.

Had the Full Monty on Saturday too and very pleased indeed. How to describe it:

  • more instant drive from the bottom. So much so, that I had to re-learn the feel of the throttle (no problem though) around town.
  • smoother
  • Seems to rev quicker and much less lazy than before
  • Raging top end now, whereas before I felt it was lacking
Very, very pleased. Thanks Mike - you made it look so easy. Also great to meet fellow Fazer thou users and thanks to the lad who's garage we used.

Hi all, I am new on the site and decided to add to this thread. Mike has just done the “full monty” on my Gen 1 (Blue now the even faster colour!!!), what a top bloke, this man knows his stuff, mega professional and a nice guy as well (he brought 10 BHP in a suitcase to my house!!!)

All the things that have been said about this mod are true with all the benefits as discussed on this forum so if you get the chance on Mike’s next visit get yer wallet out and pay the man.

Thanks a ton Mike I hope that you got home OK.

Owned over a hundred bikes and still going, bought my old Fazer 1000 back as should not have sold it in the first place

Thanks, everyone. :)

Got back home here just after midnight yesterday, tired but happy to leave 13 'new' Fazer owners in my wake. ;)  Everyone clearly very chuffed with the outcome of the 'Ivanising' which makes me well-chuffed, too.

Big thanks to Gary, Nick, Jimmy & Paul, and Mike yesterday for providing me with facilities to work out of and to all of you who made the journey to meet up with me.  I'll need a day or two to catch up with my work here and then I'll get on with investigating the things some of you asked, like R1 shift linkage and Pipercross cleaning kits.

Right, who's next .... ???? :)

Mike

I hope we can get more Scottish fockers lined up so mike can do a Scottish trip this year, or even early next year.

Just upgraded from a fzs600 to a thou in April and would love to get ivanised.

If I can get enough interest, I would be happy to look at making another trip in mid-September, to the north of England and Scotland in particular.

Drop me an e-mail if you'd like to know more.  That's e-mail, not PM via the forum, please ... mikegreatorexAThotmail.com :)

Cheers!

Mike
