Hi guys and thanks, I think a suspension check may be in order cos it does seem to skip a little at the front, something I aint experienced before , Is it a case of just winding the adjusters out a bit to soften the front ??

Hi fazersharp, yeah I could but my missus would'nt be happy. It was her more than me who struggled with the rear pegs being so high. I could drop them down a bit but not enough or get rid of her I suppose
Mr selfdestuct, could'nt agree more mate , I loved the Fazer but It was just a little small for my 6' 6" frame, the TDM is perfect but I find I'm tootling about instead of having a bit o fun, is that right for a 56 year old????? 9

After having swapped my Cracking FZS 600 in Feb this year I'm finding that I miss the little bugger, the TDM I swapped her for is ace and I love its torquey high up ride and comfiness but the Fazer was summat else. I had no fear dropping it into corners but I'm finding that I aint got near as much confidence with doing the same on the TDM .

For Sale & Wanted / My Old Divvy 600« on: 20 January 2014, 07:20:34 pm »
Hi there Peeps, I have recently bought a TDM 900 so my divvy has to go and mines a 97 600S. I bought it about 3 1/2 years ago with 37000 on it and have only done 43000 or so now. She has had a lot of TLC and have spent loads on her getting up to the standard she's in now.The only let down is the tank as it was dented when I got it and I aint been able to source one. I have put braided hoses on her aswell as Givi rack and coocase topbox (48 ltr ) She's had oil n filter changes in April every year regardless of mileage, new plugs, air filter, rear tyre (battlax),rear shocker 8000 miles old and complete really good exhaust last year. I also replaced the engine base gasket as it was leaking on the left hand side but not no more. As you'd expect there are a few scrapes and scratches on her and the fairing I paid £75 for last year is racing green and not the metallic green as original. She starts on the button every time and has a 1 year old Motobatt battery on. She also has an alarm/ immobiliser and is T&T'd till May this year. I'll send you some pics if you like. She also has heated grips fitted which come in handy this time of year and a front fender extender also the front tyre has only done about 2000 mls if that. I'm looking for £700 for a quick sale o.v.n.o.I know how good she is for riding and I don't want her doing nowt and stood seizing up month by month so if she do'nt go on here I'll advertise her elsewhere. I would break her but i think she'll do somebody a fair few miles yet.Regards Rich

FZS600 Fazer / Re: Well I've done it !!!« on: 06 January 2014, 08:51:13 pm »
Hi guys, thanks for your replies and yeah my head said "Do It " but my heart did'nt want the Fazer to go as it was mint and quick as f**k but at my age comfort outweighs the fun factor. My missus loves it (and the bike ) so good all round.
cheers fellas Buck 25
FZS600 Fazer / Well I've done it !!!« on: 06 January 2014, 06:03:35 pm »
Hi All, I'm so sorry but I've gone and done it against wot all you nice people have advised me to and swapped my Fazer for a TDM 900 mainly because of the comfort thing. It is a 2005 model and I rode it home from Huddersfield on Saturday and it woz like an armchair with wheels . Lovely though and quite pokey for a twin and SWMBO loves it so think I made the right choice. Thanks to all who put posts up to try and help me out with the issues I had but this came at the right price and the Fazer was taken as a part-ex too so less hassle all round. I will be staying on if thats ok with you all so thanks again for all yer help.
