My 1998 Fazer has gone 59.500 km and there is no noise from cam chain. But my brothers 1998 Fazer has only 32.000 km on the clock and the cam chain on the bike sounded like a diesel machine and he had to change the cam chain. Now it sounds wonderful.

Hi Snoopgreen. Yes i can. It has a wonderfuld grip. I have been out rideing 350 km the last 3 days. The roads are a little slippy and lots of mud and stones on the small roads from the farmers. But the Metzler seems never to give up. When i hit a stone i a turn and the tyre hops, it stops hopping right away, and the turn continues without any drama. Because of the profile, the bike "falls" into turns/corners and i have to use more speed / power to get the bike back up, than i am used to with other tyres. It is a tyre u can use on a track day too. I have used my M7RR for 8.000 km and i think there is another 8.000 km left. It is a wonderfull tyre on the twisties.

Bimbam - Ok, so you get screwed in Denmark on another thing than beer.So........how long are you legally allowed to ride a bike with foreign number plates and bike registered in the uk?
One week each month. And the rest 3 week u are not allowed live here. (you must have a adress in another country)

Well, in Denmark we pay 180% in tax for a bike or a car. (Cracy system) SO a new MT-09 or FZ-09 costs from new about 16.300 GBP. And i am saving up for a BMW R1200RS and it is about 26.000 GBP. That i why i dont mind spending 400 or 500 on my lovely Fazer

Hi. I had this troipc 3 weeks ago.: http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,21967.0.html , about lots of gasolin from the carburetors. I got the bike from the workshop today, and they had quite a job with almost all of the carburetor gaskets I got the valves checked, new gaskets, balancing and carburetor adjustment. The adjustment was needed, i have KN filter and an aftermarked can.It runs very nicely now and the price was 533 euro or 459 GBP.Have a nice day

I cant see if it is comming out of just one pipe. The gasoline went down from all the carburetores. When i closed for the fuel, i could still see gasoline comming from the the big rubber gasket. (o-ring)
