Transport for the masses. Got a problem with that?
I try to use cash wherever possible otherwise…………………..
it just gives them an excuse to do away with it.

I’ve noticed now and again when I’m paying for stuff, the person operating the till or whatever will exclaim “oh cash!”Quoteit just gives them an excuse to do away with it.I was at the dentist the other day. It was 11.40 for my check up and polish (nhs prices), so I pulled out a 20 spot as I was low on change. Oh she said, you couldn’t pay by card could you – just we don’t have any change. It won’t be long coming.

No wonder you've got cash if you only pay 11.40 for a dental checkup. It's almost 3 times that here and you'd pay extra for a polish.

There's a 'craft beer' Micropub near us that only takes cards. Lots of punters arriving, ordering, then turning round and going back out again.Mind you, fairly soon you'll be able to spot the crims. They'll be the ones paying in cash.

QuoteSubsidised by the EnglishUmm NO. Keep kidding yourself. The truth is Scotland has been subsiding England for decades. And that graph doesn’t quite show the true picture as Westminster redrew the maps in 1999 moving some 6000 square miles of Scottish sea to England. Anyway you lot are voting Tory, so youse are gonna get fucked even more than you are just now
