Pink lights

I saw an audi with what looked like an extra pink led strip above its white daytime running lights pretty sure its illegal but apart from that I think all bikes should be fitted with them.
I always thought that the EU law to have all cars fitted with daytime running lights made riding a bike more dangerous - why?. Because before that if you had your lights on when riding then drivers could see a bike approaching from miles away - it was either a bike or a volvo.But now our headlights are completely lost amongst the sea of ever fancy shapes of daytime running lights making it very hard for drivers to pick out a single light travelling in front of the Christmas tree light background.But that Audi with its pink strip was really easy to spot. --Thoughts

Headlamps’ colour must be one of the following:

    white
    yellow
    mainly white light with a blue tinge

If a motorcycle is fitted with front position lamps, they can emit one of the following:

    white light
    amber light
    mainly white light with a blue tinge

Rear position lamps must be red.

So these would be illegal, also imagine everyone having their own favourite colours on the front of their bike, it would look a road full of Xmas trees!

Also, on the side, it can only show amber lights.

It should be pointed out though, reflected light does not count on these, so (for example) a bright pink / blue/ green / etc light hidden behind the fairing that then reflects off of the engine/road/mudguard/whatever is perfectly legal as long as you cannot see the source of the light itself from the front/back/side of the vehicle.

It's an Audi, what do you expect 


(As mentioned in another thread) my H4 LED bulbs in standard foxeye reflectors certainly get me noticed. They seem to outshine (in white) any daytime running lights.

But they ain't going anywhere near my Fazer.
