Didn't know you'd had an off Pat, hope you're ok, not much damage to bike?
I seem to specialise in low speed offs these days, but could be considered a good thing on balance Try hedges, they're generally quite forgiving
Did not hit anything
I think I followed old road signs which were not removed on a realigned road, cannot remember anything from a few seconds before the off until I got home. A&E doc said it is common with concussion.
Downey had a good old laugh telling me how we came home and I disputing it
Memory of 3 things, seeing a kerb and grass, (which I clipped, the kerb not the grass
) a long straight trying to hold the fairing with my knee and exiting the tunnel.
Still off work with a headache that is slowly improving. First time banging my head in an off in 40 years. Black eye was something else, but nearly gone now
Parts for the bike should be here next week, but still trying to decide on what helmet to buy, had a Shark Vision R. At lease I have a spare HJC which I can use until I make my mind up.
Drove the car today for the first time, concentration levels seems to have returned, but will wait until the weekend to go back on the 600.
Got the usual questions from a few non bikers, "Are you going to give up the bike now?" and they get my usual answer, "Would you give up driving cars if you crashed one?"
