Hi Luke, Shock arrived today. Fitted with no problems at all. Dropped the yolks by 8mm as i have a gytr bar lowering kit and if i dropped them to 10mm as recommended they would hit my renthals! Will test the handling when all the road salt has been washed away, as i don't want to ride on marbles! :eek  Thanks Luke

For you foccors that are doing the R6 shock upgrade , it would be worth upcycling your original shock to the 600 foccors... as some one who has done this on my own 600 its definitely worth the upgrade on the baby fazer!!  :lol and can make your upgrade a little more pleasing that you have a) saved a few quid & b) improved the ride experience for riders on 600's!!  :D

as previously posted stainless and the cost of polishing has gone bit daft so in order to keep cost down for those who are not to worried about bling polishing i have had steel ones made and powder coated black
this will means they will be tough against are good ole uk weather
the black bones will make the package £20 cheaper
the stainless will still be avaliable for the bling bling

just back from a very fast blast on my new suspended r6 shock and new tyres. First impressions are the bike feels really planted on the road with a nice amount of initial flickability, it also takes really fast sweepers in its stride. I removed the jack up kit and fitted lukes dogbones and lowered the front end. The bike sits slightly lower to the ground, which makes it easier to move around also. A very big thumbs up for the r6 shock mod :D

Another happy biker, shock fitted. The ride is much better at the back end to the point that it shows the front end up a little  :rolleyes  but should be fine for my gentle riding style.
For anyone else a little short in the leg I stayed with the standard dog bones which drops the back end around 10mm so I did likewise with the front.
The bike is now much easier for me to move around when I'm sat on it as I'm not on tip toe anymore.
Getting the bike on the centre stand is a little harder but doable and it sit's more upright when on the side stand, ground clearance is also a little less but again not really an issue for my type of riding.
Well worth doing and will be even more so if we can start selling the 1000 shock on to the 600 lads.

Interesting question, not a clue as to what it's worth or if it would be a straight swap.
If I could get half of what Devilsyam sell's the R6 shock I'd be happy but that may be way over what they are worth, I honestly not a clue.
