It was not a dig at you. I was taking a moment to point out that if its not your thing or the wrong time for some one noise is very annoying. Many of the best biking road run through lovely country villages and I would bet the sound of the increased traffic on a nice biking day really annoys the residents. So the trick is to do the best to make sure one persons fun does not upset another persons happiness. They need to find a location out of every bodies way.

With the feelings expressed here it is why I keep the standard exhaust on my bike. If the noise was not disturbing you I bet you could not give to Sh1ts about them enjoying themselves. They have had this sort of thing going on on the industrial estate I work at, the police took it seriously collecting all the cctv they could get. Hope it gets sorted out we all like a quiet neighbourhood to live in.

I would always take the first fault to appear as the cause of the latter. With the glow plug and the injectors as a fault, I would start by checking the glow plugs are working. I take it you are having starting problems. I would also think this time of year starting problems would be more due to injectors or fuel than glow plugs.

I had a biking week end in Bristol a year or so ago and stopped here.
The great thing was that behind the down stairs room is the car park and we parked under the cover area outside the bedroom windows, so all though the bike where not locked away they were out of site of the road and if you booked the right rooms just outside your window.
If on the way you pick up the A4 around Newbury then at Chippenham pick up the A420 on in to Bristol more fun than the motorway.

Forget batteries - hydrogen fuel cell technology is the way to go for electrical power.
Honda have proved it works far better than rechargeable lithium battery technology in electric cars (a range of 250 miles between fill-ups in the hydrogen Accord, with performance at least equal to the petrol powered version).
I dont really know why this technology hasn't taken off (maybe because it's successful enough to show the oil companies that if it was properly followed up, there would be no need for their petrol and diesel fuels).
The silly thing is in this country if it is windy and the wind turbines are able to produce more electricity than is want they get turned off and the owners are paid any how. So you would think that at these time hydrogen would be produced. If there is not enough demand from vehicles at present it could be used in gas turbines to produce electricity when the demand is there.

I pictured the technology advance and every bike being shadowed by a Lily, it would be like a dark humming cloud following a lofos or spring meet ride out.

Right I have heard a lot of talk of cameras to record journeys, but I think this could be the best. (if it can keep up)

No need for gears so don't want them.
It can be charged in ten minutes if done with DC.
My next question to the manufacturer would be wht is the serviceable life of the battery and how much for a replacement?

It charges in an hour, so lunch time at a stop off could afford to pay up to £10 for a charge that uses pennies worth of electricity. It would still be about a third of the cost of fuel in the Hornet to do a 140 miles.

I haven't the room to spin a cat in my garage let alone a motorbike. Which is a shame as a turn table sound good, looking forward to the pictures.

Though not applicable to the thread, I agree with sinto
Sorta new to this malarkey, sorry if I done it wrong :-( (can't do emoticons as I use my phone)
As for the topic....
Ok, I'd love a changing room like Mr Ben so I could go on those crazy adventures he had!
Every visit to leave the changing room in full leathers and step out on The Isle Of Man during TT week.

I have noticed that a lot of TV programs have people driving along whilst presenting a the program or being interviewed by it. I think this is an awful thing as it is multi tasking and driving should not be a multi task. Or is it just me being fussy?

I have read that people use an oil can to do what is being done in this clip.
I think you would need to use a new oil can.
