What brake pads give best braking power with normal riding not on the track?

And what else should I do other than change the fluid and clean and grease the pistons?

Anyone found wavey disks other than the Chinese ones on eBay?

All a matter of personal choice really.I have Fren pads front and rear and find them excellent.Others using the same will will have a similar view,or say they are crap.EBC sintered pads are generally reckoned to be the best for road use,as they improve braking in the wet,but will wear your discs quicker than greens.Remember ,brakes on a Fazer are from the R6 and are reckoned to be the best,bar none, in their class.Most riders will replace rubber brake lines with stainless,such as Hel,but i run on standard lines.The best aid to braking is getting a proper feel for you.re brakes and using the gearbox for engine braking at the right time and the right rpm.

EBC sintered pads work well, but to really notice improved braking performance I would definately fit Stainless braided brake hoses, either Goodridge or HEL or similar. ;)

SBS Street Excel 634HS they out perform anything at present in my opinion.

I wouldn't touch them cheap and nasty  :evil  go for Goodridge, HEL etc Demon Tweaks do the full range of Goodridge their new shadow lines are very slick all ready to fit including the grommets.

Have a search I've made many posts over the years on what needs doing, basiclly clean the whole thing i.e. the caliper body, pistons, pins etc.

There's sets of Goodridge front lines - stainless steel hoses and fittings for £46 inc. postage. The listing is misspelled FZS600 GOODRIGE. Seems like a good price for branded SS lines.

Some of the kits do away with the splitter. Am I better off keeping it or getting rid? £46 don't sound bad I'll have a look at them thanks

Sort out your fork springs before getting any more out of the brakes imo. I found the blue spots completely overwhelmed the front end even before i'd got more bite from stainless hoses and ebc hh pads.

Had very mixed feed back some say they ok others not.  If you like spirited riding and late hard braking  :D  they tend not to wear that well compared to Std, a lot of the feed back is that the finish is very hit and miss and they dont weather well, I've also had a few reports of warping.   It's like everything you generally get what you pay for if you not hard on the brakes not too fussed about finish and durability they will do all that their supposed to.

EBC double H, the best I´ve ever tried so far.  Good initial bite and do not fade under stress.
Fun starts at 10.000 r.p.m.

I've had a Zone Products disc on the rear of my FZS600 for 2,000 miles with no complaint. Fitted EBC104 pads at the same time. The disc came with a protective finish which soon wears off the braking surface, as you would expect. Being on the rear and the way I ride it doesn't get a lot of heavy use, like a front might get, but I'm happy with it.
