Its been a long time....
« on: 03 November 2011, 09:52:15 am »
Well, you cant stay away for ever can you. Its been several years since I was here and had any contact with some of you good people. I'm still riding albeit an R6. The old fazer turned into a garage bound project that I never got round to fixing. There were some cracking times on the old board - I missed out on yuku entirely lol. I 'm pleased to see a lot of the old names still here too.
Looking forward to catching up on the mischief  :)

Pete

Hi Gringo and BigRalphie
Blimey, the last time I met the pair of you was at Wits funeral. That was some day. I'm sort of hoping there have been no more inbetween. I'm on an R6 board and we lost a member last year that hit home quiet hard.
I hope things are going well for you. I'm living in deepest Devon now and still with Karen  :) I traded that 1150RT for an R6 when she said she was bored of pillion and wanted to learn to ride her own bike. I had dangled the carrot of the fazer in front of her partly to push me into fixing it  :lol but she got taken out  in April by a runaway flock of sheep while on her way to work on a YBR125. Bike was a write off and she got a shattered left wrist that now has a plate and 12 screws in it. Biking over there then. I've survived so far although I gave up winter riding after using the R6 as a toboggan a year ago.
Who else is still kicking around ?
cheers for replying
Pete

A few of the old guard have moved allegiance to Facebook, but I think the move from yuku could be a new lease of life.
Devon's a nice part of the world.
Sorry to hear about Karen's off, has it killed any further inclination to ride?
My Karen loves her baby GS but not used it much this year. I'm on a TigerXC after seeing 100,000 on the yellow Thou.

Hi Pete
Welcome. I've been here six years.   Doesn't time fly.
