Modified seat for sale
« on: 21 July 2012, 04:20:23 pm »
I bought a second had seat and had it modified by Digger Seats in Wales. I asked for an extra 1" of seat height but he has added about 2".

It has been modified in the Corbin Style and has additional foam for comfort. The additional seat height makes it more comfortable on the knees as it opens then up a bit.

I am 31" inside leg and can just get my toes on the ground now and my dad (who I share the bike with), who has a 30" inside leg can't touch the ground with both feet.

It has only been on the bike to try it and for these photos, so it it as new.

You will need to have 32" inside leg or more for this to work.

It cost me £195 including second hand seat, new seat bracket and nut and all the modifications, I would like £150 if anyone is interested.

In North West Nr Liverpool Airport if you want to try before you buy.

What a stunning looking seat, I'd love to have but cant justify spending that kind of money when mine is fine.
Good luck with selling it. if you struggle I may make you a cheeky bid...  :eek
Your fuel tank filler cap looks strange from the photos was that personal choice or on there when you bought it.
Interesting paint job too, looks good nice to be different.

The fuel cap surround is for a SW Motech Quick Lock tank bag, I use an engage tank bag which just clips on but doesn't touch the tank.

The paint job is standard for an American import, they call it the skunk.

If no one wants the seat I will drop it in to Diggers next week and get it lowered a bit.
