That's a serious distance for £900!
I'm enjoying this series a lot! If you want to do another long distance trip with tons of luggage, please let me know - I modified my previous Fazer to tow a trailer, and have ample storage space (and want to put it to the test)! (That bike is off the road due to a crash. But I still have the trailer and the Fazer towbar!! )
There's an old French story (that I can barely remember, admittedly) about a little boy who walked everywhere looking straight up at the sky. He bumped into a lot of things (don't say a feckin' thing!), fell down a lot of holes. His brother was the opposite, always looking at the ground he was tilling or sowing, never stopping to appreciate the natural beauty. And he used to berate his brother for it.One day, still daydreaming, the boy fell down a hole, and discovered a lost treasure. Long story short, the dreamer's wishes came true (and I think at one point the hardworking brother is jailed - but later freed).
