Hi All,

See my for sale link - https://foc-u.co.uk/index.php?topic=27531.0

Does anyone have any advice on what would be best for me to do? I got the bike from a main dealer, and it really doesn't want for anything else. I look forward to hearing from you all :)  P.S Photo below

What year is it..? Only sell to a dealer if you need the cash quick, you will always get more cash selling privately. If your selling the bike and not trading it in the dealer will try and knock you down. If you dont need the cash, store the bike as clean ones are not that easy to get anymore. As for what the bike is worth -

Hi Bikerdude, It is 2008, on an 08 plate. Have all paperwork, including a dyno printout and its running 152bhp! But yes I would much rather sell it privately, not in any mad rush to be honest.

Oh really? I mean the cash would be nice, but having this bike in this condition in my opinion, is much nicer!

Thank you very much for that.

Well according to bike mart is worth between £3.3-4k, if you have the space and arent desperate for the cash then store the bike. Drain ALL the petrol from the tank/pump and plug the exhaust and air box openings, remove the battery and chuck a dust cover over it.

If I were in your shoes and I loved the bike, I would go with the storage option if you pan to get back to it as others have suggested

Fully faired FZ seem quite rare in general so holding onto it will help with value if it's not gaining miles (i nearly landed a white fully faired in vgc with 40k on it for £3000)

So you can buy it  ;)

You'll regret selling it so I'd hang on to it for as long as possible, there may come a time where you have to sell it because you need the money but equally circumstances might change where you are able to afford to keep it.
