Valve clearance re shim or leave
« on: 03 October 2021, 10:23:58 am »
Just checked my clearances in my 2003 fazer has 27k miles on it. All the clearances are in tolerance but only just. All my inlets are .11-.12 and exhausts are .21-.22. Question is should I leave this as it is or go get it re shimmed so they sit on the upper end of tolerance as they get tighter with age! Thanks in advance

If they are all that good and the feeler guage slides in and out easily I would leave them and check them again a 40000 miles
