"Too much of an effort for the admin and too much looking like the bad guy (light touch=no touch)." "It's just laziness to use that excuse." Well I find that very insulting. I've put hours and hours of work into this site, if it wasn't for which we'd be a ghost board on Yuku. But instead we've gone from 50 to nearly 200 posts per day, because we moved, because of the work that many people including me put into the site.
You found bbb's comments offensive but when you protested people didn't agree with you. So now you want someone else (admods) to take care of it for you and accuse them of laziness when they won't.
bbb's post that you quote is funny. I'm all in favour of PC - as Stewart Lee says it's institutionalised politeness. However I cannot see anyone, apart from you (who is not gay) being offended.
Well said that man and thank you very much! If Simmonn finds things offensive here now He wouldn't have lasted very long on the older forums. He might have been banned by now for whinging.

People who are so fat they can't walk, so how the FOC do they get all the grub they shove down their globulous necks?
The fact that there are now special ambulances for these fat sacks makes my blood boil - just leave them where they are. In fact, throw in a couple of dozen moggies and shut the house up for a couple of weeks.
Had occasion to visit my local hospital lately, got to say most of the staff there themselves looked too fat to walk never mind care for anyone else

I'm really struggling with this just accept it and move on argument.
Where would women be if they just accepted that they get paid lees for doing the same job as men? Where would women be if they just accepted that they didn't have the vote? Where would the common man be if they just accepted that they didn't have the vote? Where would the Tolpuddle Martyrs be if they just accept their lot? Where would we be if the Parlimentarians just accepted that the King had the devine right to rule how he pleased? Were would we be if the Barons just accepted their lot and we didn't have Magna Charter? Where would we be if King Alfred accepted defeat and didn't come out of the marshes and introduce common Law?
As far as the tories are concerned probably in our rightful places

Use it all the time in work, mostly on "o"rings. Some things just won't slip in without it

You can "usually" change a rad valve on a combi system without draining the whole system. Once you have let the pressure off, as long as you only have one open end (the pipe you are changing the valve on) air cant get into the system so the water cannot fall out. Note I said usually if the auto air vent on the boiler opens or some worcester boilers with a non return valve lets in air you may get wet!

To be honest, as bun fights on this forum goes, this is really tame.
Hey, OldFart, time to weigh in, and you 'jumpers'. Pity Lum aint here
Hey Chillum, is that Lumpy? He's a real obstinate bastid. And always up for a good verbal scrap.
Mickey
Can we get it on to religion and get Iano involved, throw in a bit of UG speak as well to confuse everyone?

What about foc-uretha because this idea of change lark is taking the piss!. Does anybody really care what the u stands for? I've never been asked, or asked anyone if they are an "unofficial foccer". Only ever pointed people towards the foc-u fazer owners site as a place for everything fazer related.

It's the bit in the rev range where you will feel a surge in the rate of acceleration. Some 2 strokes had power bands that could best be described as vicious . Similar sort of thing as turbo lag on cars with big turbos fitted, can be all or nothing.
