I'll have the bottles of oil if still available

So my gen 1 fazer 1000 has broken its mounting bracket. Looks like rust has seen it off. Looking online doesn't yield any decent options for second hand ones- they look worse than the one i already have. Does a yone have any suggestions or ideas for header replacements?

Hi everyone, another new mwmber. Had my fazer 1000 for a few months now. Loving the ride and comfort. Not so lack of certain parts...

On the diagram under Transmission it is parts No 33 and 44.👍

Or give Fowlers parts a call tomorrow.

I’ve had a look on their online parts microfiche for you, but can’t find the part. That’s probably more to do with their sometimes bizarre naming of parts lists / assemblies.

I’m sure it’s listed on there, but it didn’t jump out at me.

Here’s a link for your info.

You can re-use the previous lock washer by bending down a different part of it, but for the sake of a few quid, it's much better to replace it.

Look on a site like Wemoto and you should find it.

I dont think so, my experience is that fuel starts leaking copiously out of the carbs first. They literally flood so you'll notice if the o-rings are gone.

A tip I got from my mechanic then was that Suzuki Bandit 1200 has the same o-rings that were at least then much cheaper and withstood ethanol mixed into gasoline better than the old originals. (Just to be safe I have also used fuel stabilizer during winter storage ever since).

Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner / Front sprocket washer parts picture/parts number
« Last post by tnfazer on Today at 10:48:56 am »
Hi all,

My Scottoiler seems to have been blocked so now my original chain and sprockets have come to the end of their service life after 55,000 km. I've been leafing through Yamaha online parts catalog for an hour, but can't find the image/list that would have the front sprocket and the safety washer that goes under it. Can anyone point me to the right parts picture (numbered 1-46) or to a correct parts number?

I know I'm a bit too fussy, but the Yamaha repair manual says the washer needs to be replaced after sprocket change and I am now at an age where I start replace riding time with fussying time.
