Still got one last set of the sports grips left if there's anyone out there that fancies warm hands?!

Hey JoeRock, do you still have these? If so I might have a potential buyer - let me know by PM or posting please. Cheers!

How about the rear brake caliper - is it for sale? What's the condition? How much would you want for it?

Yamaha specify engine oil in FZS600 manual so I don't see why not, really. I haven't heard any Scottoiler owners run into issues with using engine oil.

Gentlemen I'm pretty chuffed about the helpful suggestions, much appreciated! Sorry this thread has been my first time posting in foc-u, been lurking for a while though.

BTW I replied to PM so when I get the details I'm happy to pay and finally give bike the attention it deserves.

Thanks stevierst, you're a star!

I have one question though - do you remove and replace the zip-ties every time you fill up the reservoir or have you come up with some clever way of doing it in situ?

Yep, all the kits come with one that fits straight on. Its on the end of the thin black tubing with a right angle bend in it. That plugs straight in top of your carb where the little black rubber bung is. It just softens the vacuum pulses to the scottoiler so it doesn't break it.

Thank you stevierst!

Now, Kentish, my good man - how do I transfer these funny old English pounds to you in the exchange for said gadget?

According to Scottoiler page this requires a vacuum damper assembly to fit FZS600. Is this included in the kit? If so, I'm interested in the kit (provided it's still for sale)
