Ivans reflash
« on: 05 July 2014, 07:20:11 pm »
Is there any out there with the Ivans reflash?

Just wondering whether I should shell out and get it done or not. I'm aware that It works magical powers in smoothing out the power and De-restricting the first three gears, but I'm concerned that it'll further ruin the already appalling fuel consumption (37mpg on last fill!!!)
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

I thought I read in the ivan flash thread that he doesn't change the fueling in the ECU..He leaves the fueling changes to be done by a PC3 or PC5..

But the last time I read he ECU flash thread was months ago so maybe he changed his flash..

Apparently last time I spoke to him which was about 6 months ago, he sends you his pc map via email once he has flashed the Ecu.

I think thats because you can add/take other mods and adjust the fuelling appropriately.

Where about are you? I had my ECU re flashed at Hilltop motorcycles, Leicester. Completely changed the bike and got 147 rwhp, restrictions removed, throotle response smooth as ya like. I have no PC, no airbox mod, just a pipercross filter, decatted mid pipe, Remus hexacone zorst. I would definitely recommend the ECU re map.

I'm in Blackpool, so it'd cost me a fair bit to get there and back, but I'll do some sums and have a look. I take it that was done on a rolling road?

How much did they charge?

i went to hilltop as well, got 139 rwhp with no mods just a akra slip on can. Improved fuelling to as well. Think it was about £300-350 all in. Torque up considerably as well with a nice smooth linear delivery.
