Worn exup valve
« on: 17 February 2016, 11:21:06 am »
Hey guys can anyone help me out I've been told that my exup valve is worn at each end to a extent it that the imperfections can't be machined out and still leave bought material,  I've been on fowlers and see that the new valve is 350 odd,

Is there ANY other option for new?

Or

Will any other modes fit so I can broaden my second hand search

Thank you

tex

There's a good exhaust with exup valve on german ebay for £77 for that money it's worth getting  and taking the exup out. Item number141903897335, I think it's ended but contact the seller. Google for quick guide to speak german :lol

A '98-'99 R1 EXUP will also fit (not the headers, though) and I believe that the Thunderace 1000 also has the same valve.
