...similar was mentioned on the Gpz site recently, a suggestion was also putting a bit of fresh engine oil in the tank, blocking the holes & rolling it so all surfaces were covered. That would help with any moisture sealed in the bag.

...thanks, getting there. All connectors were fine, used contact cleaner & acf50 anyway. I ran a -ve straight from the battery to bulbs, relays & connectors. When I ran it to the connector in the black box for the right hand switch block the problem no longer happens when switching from dipped to full. I had the same result from both sides of the connector so know the connector isn’t the problem I will work back & if I can’t find a problem I will run a wire from the battery to the connector. Passing button still causes a problem but will work on that afterwards.

....yes I wiggled them, but will have a better look & see if there is any corrosion. I think I may have missed one on the left hand side of the fairing.

Hi, I am getting back to the Fazer now after a few years of working on my Gpz. One problem it has always had is that when the headlights are on & you switch to full beam or press the passing button, the lcd on the dash goes off for a second then all lights flash as though the ignition has been just turned on. So far I have wiggled all of the connectors, tested the 2 headlight relays as per the Haynes manual and they seem good. The bulbs are the correct wattage. The other thing that is strange is if I unplug 1 bulb then it is fine, doesn’t matter which side I undo. Has anyone had this problem before or got any ideas as to what I can check next? Nick.

...mine came with a Devil Magnum can, deep and fairly loud. I had to use micro indicators though.
