Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of repainting my 2004 FZ6 engine as the silver paint is flaking off.
I found a thread on this forum about someone painting a Gen 1 Fazer 1000 engine and was wondering if it's the same silver finish as my bike?
Here is the link to Amazon where he bought it.

Also i have been thinking about repainting the silver sub frame as it's a bit rusty but not sure what paint to use?
Silver hammerite??
Thanks :)

I was looking for paint for the footpeg hangers on my FZ6 and (after a lot of hassle) I found some see http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php?topic=24586.msg285534#msg285534 (http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php?topic=24586.msg285534#msg285534)
I don't know if the paint I got would work for an engine, but hopefully this might give you a starting place :thumbup

Thanks for your help bud :)
I don't think that paint will be any good for the engine as it needs to be heat resistant.
but it should be ok for the sub-frame.....did you order the WB Yamaha 20211 Silver Sand?
