Knackering day.....on the , yay! Did loads of the gnarly little mountain roads in the Lakes, including Honister, Wrynose and Kirkstone passes. But quite a few other roads around here are similar in steepness, and they require constant concentration. It was actually pretty warm in the sun too, to the point where getting the colder winds at the tops of the passes was a relief!It's a fabulous place; the sense of remote, open space is fantastic up here, one of my favourite in the region.
MOT just done on Friday with no printed advisories.Guy recommened new chain and sprockets so back end stripped ready for parcel arriving tomorrow!
Put my new chinky levers on, £15 well spent i reckon. Then went for a quick blast. Then washed it.
