Have you checked the chain to ensure correct tension, lube and that none of the links are siezed or stiff??

It's unlikely to be the solenoid, if it was stuck there would be no noise and jump leads wouldn't make a difference. The solenoid needs very little current to operate. More likely to be the starter motor stalling when in certain positions.
Smoke and mirrors, all I know it is costing me about £600 a month in my pension and other savings as I live in France. It's not any better for us still in the UK: (
The leave lot certainly did not hang about before jumping ship. The lot of them are a disgrace. Hopefully May can pull it together now and we can move on.
Maggie 2 hopefully.
She has a lot to do but i think she was the right choice. Hopefully she'll get cosy with angela and take out junker, that prick.
Depends how often you buy tyres from them,I had exact same scenario. Plugged it myself did 500miles on it and took it to the garage that normally fit my tyres. He happily replugged it for me stating that the stop n go are fine temporary but a proper mushroom plug would see the tyre Thru. Never had a problem 3k laterAs voted I would get it re plugged from the inside by a reputable tyre fitter, if they are not happy and recommend replacing then replace.
They're not gonna be happy, with the prospect of the sale of a new tyre!
