oil light

hi foccers   had the fazer out for a run today  over the winter i   changed the oil and filter   but on way home the oil light   came on    :eek  was ok for the first 190 odd mile out of a 220   mile run   checked the oil when she cooled and oil levels good  what should i check /look for now  cheers lads

If you waited too long for the bike to cool down, the oil may just have been height enough in the sight glass. You are meant to check the oil when hot really.

The FZS600 oil light is an oil level light so chances are, it is a tad low and going round a corner, accelerating or braking hard was just enough to activate the level switch.
