I bought cheap chinses ones from ebay (no choice, had to have them after a knee op) pros - cheap, do the job, look ok. cons - took a lot of grinding to fit, don't spring up and down as easily as OEM, and can I trust them...? anyway HTH

Hi all, if you are in range and feel like blowing away the cobwebs early in the new year then please come to Northampton for our annual charity ride in aid of the air ambulance. last year approx 400 bikes turned up and we raised £3.5k. The next ride is a memorial to our friend who organised the ride for the last few years, sadly he passed away earlier this year. It wouldbe great to see some of you there.

I bought some cheap audi type flashing led indicators. They need 2 extra load resistors per indicator

Did you align the punch mark on the pressure plate with the the clutch boss before installing the springs and tightening the bolts.
Ah. No. Can you explain a little more please? Thanks

I've just fitted drag bars on mine, will try and post a pic later. They have made below 70 a PITA but the bike is for hooning about on + track days so not an issue for me.

I fiited a pair of the fire rider ones mentioned in a post above. About 40 quid, I didn't measure very carefully cos they took a lot of grinding to fit, but I was on a timescale for my trackday so had no choice. Made a huge difference for me with my bad knee, really pleased with them. Cold track and new tyes meant there weren't any ground clearance issues on the day, but we'll see.

TBH it's what came with the bike so no idea whether it's better or worse than any other. Plus it was too damn windy to make any difference anyway

RogD I also have had a knee replacement, 6 months ago, but I am a short arse with 29" inseam. I've fitted lower footpegs to one of my bikes, that's made it comfortable ish, had the fazer out twice this year and can only do 30 - 40 mile stints on it, which is ok for me as that's what I bought it for (plus track days) but if you go the lowered footpeg option let us know please. Good luck with it.

Well I had my first spin out on the bike since all of the work - oil & filter, air filter, spark plugs, wilbers fork springs, r6 shock - and all seems well. Suspension is a revalationI need to adjust the forks a bit but the shock is spot on. Ready for track days at Bedford in May and Donington in June.

Doesn't matter what I was trying to show, end result is the same - no exhaust flap movement when ignition switched on, and the servo motor fizzes. So it must be whatever it is that sends info to the servo - or a short. Any ideas anyone?
