I checked mine a little while ago at approx 26000 miles and all were well within tolerances. From memory you dont need to drain it all out only enough, into a jug, to remove the water pump which is located under the tank.

Thanks for all the advice as this is my first trip across the channel on a bike it's just a quick run to Ypres for the day. So do I need a hi-vis for Belgium and stickers on the helmet? If so where do I get them from, do they have to be a certain size?

hi all I've planned a day trip to Belgium next week just after a bit of advice to comply with local laws, ie what do I need to have on board or reflective clothing etc. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Locksmith - The BBC bought the Top Gear rights from him for a large sum of money so he couldn't take it anywhere else. I guess the bbc will say the final warning was for racist comments so physical assault won't count. Personally I think he's so far up his own arse he actually believes he can do what he likes. I've seen a rev'it Nevada Gore-Tex jacket for sale at £183.80 (rrp £399.70) seems a bargain for a Gore-Tex jacket. Anyone had any experiences with this jacket or Rev'it in general?
Comments and recommendations most welcome, especially as this rain isn't going away any time soon.

Anyone recommend decent textile jacket for about £150 - £200, I've got an RTS one at the mo but its to tight around the neck so I can't do it up properly as it feels like I'm choking.

Go on go compare, get a cheaper quote and tell admiral. They will check and try to match it then tell em to get stuffed and cancel their policy. My daughters renewal had nearly doubled, did this and it was halved and at fully comp from third party fire and theft.

I've got a 12 volt socket fitted on the fairing and connected straight to the battery via a fuse to plug charger in without having to access the battery, makes life a lot easier.

So, an uninsured retard drives into the back of my company van and writing it off, all £6k of it, my daughter gets hit with a £288 bill because i'm a named driver on her car insurance policy. He gets £400 fine and three points for failing to nominate a driver although he was driving the van that ran into me, I guess he knew it would be a lesser fine etc. These bastards know how to work the system and i'm penalised for beeing driven into. did get 2.4K compo for whiplash though from the motor insurance bureau so not all bad.

Mine came with a Scorpion Titanium End Can already fitted, sounds a peach, been told it's a race can but passed MOT a couple of weeks ago and the tester didn't even comment on it
