I managed to buy a used switch asm for a choke lever, but the choke is very heavy to pull and it feels like the lever will break, the cable has some stiction but not over tight, I tried lubing the cable with no luck so I bought a new pattern cable and that feels rough, I haven't fitted it yet. also when I bought the switch it came with an extra item but I don't know where it goes, my original switch has nothing like it either, here is a picture of the offending item  any help would be appreciated

i have a beewi helicopter for sale, i have only played with it once, it is in perfect working order but i actually wanted one for the iphone, this one only works on android phones and tablets, it does not have a seperate remote control but uses bluetooth fom your phone.this helicopter is an aduls toyand an be used outdoors which i would recommend, the box is there along with the replacement parts that come with it
im after £20 plus post and i can supply pictures if required

I'm after some advise on moving an internal wall in my house, I will post some pictures later when I'm back at home and I can plug my phone into my laptop, I think what I have in plan may work but don't want to go ahead till I have some professional help.

I saw this mod on I think the us fz1 site where you link cylinders 1-4 and 2-3 with some fuel pipe, the original mod was using some T pieces but it was mentioned that you get the same effect by just linking as I have mentioned, I know my idle sounds different, as to smoothness I haven't noticed any difference, perhaps I may have to try the mod with the T pieces.

I find my logbook is missing, I find out that you can get a temporary one from dvla, then my battery decides to call it a day, on Sunday of all days, did a ride to Thorpe park on Monday and battery was US so had to bump start it, and it was the same when I got back. I had the corbin seat on and I found it was uncomfortable if you sat where your ass should be as the footpegs and handlebars were now in the wrong place, I would have been doubled up before I got to dover so no biking holiday for me this year.

I have to ride from Budapest to Swindon in august, but I have to do it in 24 hours, a total od 1200 miles minimum and also involves a ferry crossing.

I have just fitted a pair of used discs on my bike, after fitting the right disc was touching the calliper and the left was perfectly central which was weird, in the end I had to space my right calliper inwards to fix the problem, the discs were fitted in the same way as they came off. Any ideas as to why this happened?

and I got a bit of a shock  and the collar was also a bit past it  thankfully the other bearings look ok so I will give them a good clean and fresh grease, I bought the bike like this and have gradually been fixing things as and when I have time and the money, problem is do I risk getting a second hand part?

to fit this  in place of my original slightly untidy shock  just got to wait for the new dog bones and a cobalt drill bit to turn up the shock I got was off a new bike that was never ridden on the road, it was bought as a race bike, I got it off eBay for £82

my calliper pistons have gone a bit rusty, so I need to rebuild the calliper with new pistons/seals and pads, the question is does anyone do stainless pistons without breaking the bank? I have found some piston/seal sets on eBay but there is no mention of their material

I have managed to acquire a basically new r6 shock ,what I need to know which dog bones to get, on eBay there are some that say a 25mm lift at the back, would these be ok? they don't list the hole spacing but I should be able to find out. id there a hole spacing I need to get or will a 25mm jack up kit be ok?

I read somewhere that fitting a gen2 screen to a gen1 is better than getting a dedicated gen1 screen, how much work is involved into fitting the screen into a gen1?

I have a couple of givi e45 panniers which I would like to exchange for some e36 panniers, structurally they are good but they have the usual marks from use, one was used as a top box and I had a high level light fitted on top, i filled those holes in, the other has the securing strap inside the box, both boxes are in perfectly good working order just that they are a bit too big for me and my bike. the keys are different between the top boxes the box on the right of the picture has the securing straps still inside, the one on the left is the one I filled in some holes

I don't think it will move much as it is solid, but I need to get some e36 panniers as at the moment I have e45 which are huge and worse so as I had to space them out to clear bodywork etc  as you can see the width is huge

are the fork seals on the fazer thou a big job or does everything come apart easily? as usual Haynes and the genuine manual don't help a great deal, it has been a few years since I last fitted fork seals

rode my bike today for the first time for a while because of clutch problems and having a double hernia op as well. after treating the bike to an new clutch, new chain and sprockets and a rack ready for Thursday it decides to blow one of its fork seals, I have hopefully got one in the post from Yamaha which should be here if royal mail don't let me down tomorrow morning, tomorrow is the only day I have to get it done as I get married on Wednesday and I will be travelling to London early on thursday

and I won it with 8seconds to go, I had to log in and I don't think I could log in any faster without hitting the wrong button, now I have to get it and start fitting the pannier frames
