You will find that there's been an arc path in the switch (often caused by kids splashing water in the bathroom above if its a downstairs bog) five minute job to change it

John - reckon it suits you  :b

Well the decision has been made. I am selling my six in favour of a CBF1000GT

and here she is.

Its a 2009 with 19K miles and a private plate starting R999  because the previous owner was old bill. Wonder if I could flog that........

I very nearly went down the CB900 route - ticked no boxes at all but I've always liked them and one was available with sod all miles near me in mint condition. This is a far more sensible proposition.
If that's the original plate it would be 09 or 59 not 99

So you introduce 'something else to go wrong' take some of the feel of feeding the clutch in on corner exits away and for what? oh yeah a sound that anyone can replicate by changing gear clutchlessly yeah I had better rush out and get one...doi they do a quick braker and a quick refueller too?

suppose it depends on the riding style Mac, maybe for you that's not a requirement but I personally will always be in the gear before the corner.

maybe an age thing too, you know us young uns want all the tech whether we know how to use it or actually need it is another thing, all the gear, no idea ;) but perhaps it's much like the ABS question.
Ahhh the joy which is hurling an FZS into a sweeping bend popping on the over run and booting it out again upshifting still banked and feeding the clutch to keep the front weighted ..each to their own
