« on: 08 September 2016, 04:27:40 PM »
Thanks Mick
I had some Chinese copy pazzo levers on my last bike. There were perfect good except for the fact they ended up baggier than a wizards sleeve. I had so much play in the clutch lever after a few months that I had take it off and shim it up.
I'd hate to think how their rearsets would end up.

I had the same issue myself with mine Dude. Put the stock ones back on.
With regard to the rearsets ... They are OK, for the price, but replace the bearings, rose joints and bolts (because they're all shite) with decent stainless stuff, and buy sealed bearings.

Is the R6 shock suitable for a Gen 1 or 2?

I had contacted Scorpion who had said they no longer supply this exhaust and have no baffles left.

PM rec'd. Sorted now, thanks Dek.

« on: 06 July 2016, 04:44:29 PM »
I have a Gen 2 with a scorpion exhaust. I seem to have mislaid the baffle... on the road.  :eek :D

Anyway, I have the original exhaust that I am considering throwing back on as I am finding the scorpion too loud and I can't find a suitable baffle/db killer.

If I was to put the original back on, what else would I need. bearing in mind all I got when I bought the bike was the exhaust unit. Nothing else .

If you were interested in splitting, I'm interested in the mirrors.

I'm looking to get replacement mirrors for the FZ1, preferably standard. Has anybody a set they dont need anymore because they upgraded/changed theirs?
Or is there any other model Yamaha that are a direct fit?

I had to replace mine last year for the same reason. I bought a sping/footpeg set off Ebay and fit it handy enough.

Something like this

Well guys .. the spring on the gear shift side housed in the footpeg has split/snapped. Its a bit of a bugger now whenever im reversing as its not spring loading back down into position.
Where can I get one of these? Not many for breaking around. Or would anybody know would another yamaha bike use similar footpegs?

Theres a GoPro style camera doing the rounds on ebay, aliexpress and other sites. Its SJ4000. Video quality I have seen is excellent for the price. Its obviously a copy but there are known fakes (of a fake I guess) as well.

« on: 03 September 2014, 11:55:54 AM »
Well guys another question - I will probably get somebody to fit these (just had delivery of them yesterday) but the original banjo connection at the lever (master cylinder?) is a single line, whereas the new set has 2 lines. Is there anything else needed or would this be a straight forward swap?

Well guys ... hoping to get a set of braided lines for my bike. I see Wezmoto have 2 listed for my 2006 FZ1. A 2 and 3 front kit ... Why the need for the 3rd line?  :\

I got a set of a 3 line Goodridge black sheathed for the front including banjos all, you need is copper washers pm me if you are interested?

Capt, would the line lengths be suitable to swap between a gen 1 & gen 2??

Put new Brembo pads in. Took off the touring screen and put the standard one back in till the DB one arrives.
