General / Finally Back On The Road!!
« on: 09 January 2015, 07:17:28 PM »
Well It's been over 6 months since a piece of scum nicked my beautiful black FZS600, but i'm finally back on two wheels! I spent many hours looking at all sorts of options; Hondas, Kawasakis, Triumphs etc, but at the end of the day I just couldn't resist getting back on a Fazer. It's the bike I love, the bike I had wanted since I was 13 and I have no regrets with sticking to what I know.

It's a beauty with only 13K on the clock and in mint condition, most importantly it is living locked away in my dad's garage, until I get my own built which will be around 3 months time. It's great to be a Focer again!!  :D

For Sale & Wanted / Anyone Selling a Fazer?
« on: 17 October 2014, 10:22:19 PM »
Hi there,

Some of you may remember I had my Fazer 600 stolen, I have decided to go on the look out for a replacement, is anyone here looking to sell? Ideally I would like a box eye FZS600 in Black. Let me know if interested.

Hi Guys,

It is with great regret and rage that I have to report my beloved Yamaha Fazer600 as stolen !! The Registration is R782 NFW. Please spread this as far and wide as you can and should you or anyone see it please report it to the police. It is a pretty standard bike but there are a few distinctive marks:

1) The oil cap has broken and the bike was stolen before I could replace it with the new one I ordered, so it looks like a cracked mess.

2) Both rear brake lights failed at the weekend, again stolen before the replacements could be fitted. I know it's not much to go on but that's the best I can do.

3) Grey paint stripe on the side of the rear tyre (for exactly this reason)

The bike was taken from the Wortley area in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Some of you may recall that this was a bike bought for me by my wife as an anniversary gift, something she saved long and hard for, she is even more pissed off than me!

Anyway I've attached pictures of the bike below and also included a Facebook link, please share to as many people as you can.

Kind Regards

James (1 pissed off Focer)

General / Track Day
« on: 19 May 2014, 09:10:00 PM »

A mate of mine has talked me into trying a track day. Having never raced before I'm not sure what to expect. Have any of you guys tried it on a FZS600? Got any tips, such as bike preparation or how to get the best from the bike on the track? The bike handles beautifully on the road and hope it's even better on the track.

General / Can't wait for Spring
« on: 01 February 2014, 06:17:11 PM »
After finally becoming a Fazer owner last year, I can't express how much fun I have had on it. 2013 was full of camping trips, journeys to Scotland etc with my best pal, joined by his SV650; and man the Fazer can carry tons of luggage without effecting my comfort. Very impressed!!

With all that experience under my belt I can't wait to get to Spring 2014, throw my tent on the back seat and do it all over again!

General / Wild Camping Suggestions??
« on: 07 August 2013, 01:40:54 PM »
Hi guys,

I'm planning a 4 day wild camping trip to Scotland, in September. Does anyone have any suggestions as to destinations? I'm hoping to get right into the wilderness, find a loch all to myself, no sign of human life, freedom really. I'm sure you get the idea. Any suggestions would be welcome :)

Introduction / Just Signed Up Thanks To My Wife
« on: 20 March 2013, 08:57:18 PM »
Hi there,
Thought i'd introduce myself. My name is James and thanks to my lovely wife Heather, I am now the proud owner of a 98 Fazer600. It's the bike i've always wanted since I was 13. I'm 27 now so it's been a long time coming!
Basically I came home on Saturday to find a Black Fazer on the drive way which she had bought from a member of this forum, who has kept the bike in near perfect condition and only 22k miles on the clock. The FZS has it's MOT booked in for Friday and I really can't wait to take it for a ride, looks like my days of riding my trusty Suzuki GS500 are over, so that will be up for sale soon.
I am also restoring a 1987 Kawasaki GPZ900R, which so far has cost me £2000 pounds, but I hope to turn a few heads in the Summer.
Anyway good to meet you all.
James.  :D
