General / rear brake light??
« on: 22 January 2018, 10:27:01 AM »
what do you call these things that are fitted to top box's.
I know it sound obvious but cannot find any on ebay using that.
what I'm after is a rear light that has a brake light inc.
I can find one of each but not 2 together.
going touring in may so buying a bigger top box and I want the above fitted inside the red reflector.

probably might be best having separate lights .
what I would like is for them to be inside the red reflector that you got on the topbox.

General / prize bull
« on: 29 December 2017, 06:05:14 PM »
A man takes his wife to the Cheshire County Show.
They eventually get to the field containing the prize bulls.

They come up to the first bull and his sign stated:

The wife turns to her husband and says:
"He mated 50 times in a year, you could learn a thing or two from him."

They proceed to the next bull and his sign stated:

The wife turns to her husband and says:
"This one mated 150 times last year. That is nearly 3 times a week. You could learn from this one too."

They proceeded to the last bull and his sign said:

The wife's mouth drops open and says:
"WOW! He mated 365 times last year. That is ONCE A DAY!!! You could really learn from this one."

The man turns to his wife and says:
"Go up and ask if it was 365 times with the same cow."

General / glove sizes!!!
« on: 11 November 2017, 06:57:44 PM »
why is it that you can never get what you want/need. just bought a pr of winter gloves size 4xl and they fit the same as a 2xl.I've got 3 gloves 1 ,2xl by Richa and 2 at 3xl and believe it or not the 2xl is slightly larger than the 3xl. the 4xl feels the same size as is going on .having gloves that are bigger than your hands help to keep your fingers warm without having to resort to heated gloves etc.with having gloves bigger help in keeping the wind off your finger and help blood circulation. I had a pr years ago and they were brilliant. but these days sizes are all over the place.grrrrrrrrr

standard tooth is 16.
I can how ever get a R1 17 tooth sprocket which is the same except its slightly narrower .

the MT-07  chain 525 R1  530
would this make any difference??
hopefully someone can help me on this, even if the above is not suitable maybe you'll know where I can get it.

General / accident claim?
« on: 22 November 2016, 12:17:18 PM »
just had a phone call this morning from my old insurance that a old bloke is making an injury claim?
had an accident last year on my bike as mention before on here, jag
he pulled out as I was moving onto the roundabout and he stopped suddenly in my path so I just clipped his bumper.
we settled it without making any claim or no exchanged of details etc.
now the old git is making a claim for injuries what I dont know.
how the hell he got injured if I just clip his rear bumper?
I told them (old insurance) we just clip his bumper and he was perfectly alright 3 weeks later when wee went to pay him.
if we had hit him hard dont you think we would of made a claim? also we never came off  we just stopped and waited for him.
5 f'in months later I get this?? bastid.
