Cleaned out the sensor and greased it up, sounds good again! No more noise.

I have done this swap and I would recommend adding a new wiring with relays for the lights. That way you get two main lights and two high beams! :)

Wrong forum, thought this was FZS600...

These were mine at 56000km/34800miles:

I left them alone, but I see now that I should probably swap them next time around...

Now to the hijack - kgjersda - where did you get those fairing lowers on the 600. I'm looking for something similar for our 600, but haven't found anything resonable yet ?

They came with the bike when I bought it, albeit cracked and scuffed, so I had to mend them.

But I do think these are the same:

Wingrack is a whole section with different fittings for different motorcycles.

I love my Givi wingrack + tankloc setup from Givi.

If you know anyone with a metal lathe, the parts are easily made if you have some steel.

And you can buy adjustable dogbones.

How is your riding position and posture? Do you relax your shoulders?
We often unknowingly tense up which causes all sorts of pains.

I put in SBS 634HS in my 600. From not being able to lock up the front wheel to being able to do it with 2 fingers. They absolutely transformed the brakes.

What exactly is  included in an "ivanising"?

A little update:

I still got both bikes, and I commute with my Fazer and use the MT for nice weather and longer trips.
Fazer is still so much easier in and around town, lower point of gravity, flickable and nimble.
The MT is actually around the same weight/size as the Fazer but it has a much wider turn radius and a higher center of gravity, so you feel the weight much more.

MT-10 is a torque monster, it just goes so fast; fast. So you don't really get to think before you're far above the legal speed limit. :D

Keeping them both!

It's amazing how much stuff you can fit on these small bikes!  :lol

If the mt is 10/10, then the fazer is 9/10. Both are bloody brilliant.

Fazer is so so so much more frugal 😁

Properly embarrassed myself this morning!
Playing with a Focus ST along the country lanes on the way in to work, all pretty friendly.
Got into town on a dual carriageway and stopped at some traffic lights. I was in the left hand lane behind an old duffer in a Rover and the ST was in the right, at the front of the queue. He moved over and beckoned me so I filtered in front of the old guy. Then the lights turned green and I dumped the clutch a bit too sharply. The front wheel came up, I shut off, slammed back down which banged it into second without the clutch so it totally bogged down, wobbled and slowly crawled away. I could actually hear the bloke laughing at me!

Haha, thanks for the laugh!

It's very simple.

This is a very instructional video on it:

I used a plane surface and something like this piece:
